Outdoor, play-based enrichment for kindergarten & early elementary learners

Wild Roots is our play-based, nature-centered enrichment program for kindergarten and first-grade learners. In a small, mixed-age community, children explore, create, and learn through hands-on experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and collaboration. Faith-informed values like kindness, gratitude, and care for creation are woven gently into our days, while play, connection, and development remain at the heart of the curriculum.

What to Expect in Wild Roots

  • Opportunities for creative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving

  • Outdoor, play-based exploration and hands-on projects

  • Social-emotional skill development: flexibility, confidence, peer connection

  • Foundational academic skills integrated naturally, without formal instruction

Program Details

  • Ages: Kindergarten- and first-grade-aged children

(Must be 5 years old before September 1, 2026)

  • Schedule:

    • Monday / Wednesday

    • 1:00 pm–3:00 pm

  • Tuition: $120/month

Is Wild Nook a Good Fit?

Wild Roots may be a good fit if your family values:

  • A calm, supportive, part-time enrichment program

  • Faith-informed values woven gently into daily experiences

 

Wild Nook may not be the best fit for families seeking full-day childcare, traditional tutoring or remediation, a secular-based curriculum, or a primarily indoor classroom setting.

Enrollment Expectations

  • Children must meet the kindergarten age requirement by September 1, 2026

  • Families should be comfortable with regular outdoor learning in most weather conditions

  • Children should be able to participate in small group experiences with growing independence

  • Space is limited to maintain a low child-to-teacher ratio

Tuition & Registration | 2026–2027

  • Tuition: $120/month, Full school year: $1,080

  • Registration & Supply Fee: $95 one-time, non-refundable

  • Tuition covers thoughtfully prepared, low-ratio learning with hands-on experiences

  • Registration Process:

    1. Register online using link below

    2. Submit non-refundable registration fee

    3. Complete enrollment form (emailed after registration)

  • Welcome materials, parent meeting details, and additional info sent in the spring
