Wild Nook Preschool
Wild Sprouts (3s) & Wild Buds (4s)
Nature-based, outdoor learning for children ages 3–5

Wild Nook Preschool is an outdoor, play-based program where young children learn through curiosity, connection, and meaningful experiences in nature. Designed to honor the rhythms of early childhood, our days are calm, relational, and grounded in play—primarily outdoors in all seasons.

While nature learning is intentionally woven throughout the day, the heart of our curriculum is play, connection, and development rather than formal instruction or academic pressure.

Rooted in Christian faith, Wild Nook is guided by values of kindness, gratitude, stewardship, and love. Faith is woven gently into our days through prayer, stories, songs, and conversations, while our primary focus remains on social-emotional growth, imagination, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.

Preschool classes are held outdoors in most weather, with indoor space used when conditions require it.
Our Preschool Program
Wild Nook’s preschool program emphasizes hands-on exploration, imaginative play, and social connection in a supportive, nature-rich environment. Class schedules and group sizes are intentionally designed to support regulation, engagement, and a positive outdoor learning experience.
