Class Structure
At Wild Nook, our Nature Explorations typically last about an hour. Each class is thoughtfully designed with six essential components that foster a rich learning experience.

1. Welcome
As Explorers and Guides arrive, they are warmly greeted by the teacher. They have the opportunity to participate in a welcome activity or begin exploring the nature classroom at their own pace.

2. Gather
Everyone comes together at our class "nest," where the teacher introduces the day's activity and sets the stage for what’s to come.

3. Introduction and Launch
We kick off the class with a welcome song and introduce the day’s topic through a story or a book reading, setting the tone for the activity.

4. Guided Play
This is where the magic unfolds! In our Guided Play phase, we follow a flexible "I Do, We Do, You Do" approach. After introducing and modeling the activity, Explorers take the lead, engaging with the activity in their unique ways.

5. Clean Up
We emphasize respect for nature by returning borrowed nature items and leaving the space tidy. Explorers help water plants with any water used during class, return nature treasures to the area, and clean up any messes. We also wash our hands to wrap up the day.

6.Reflection
We conclude the class by regrouping for a final song and sharing favorite moments from our play. We express appreciation for each other and encourage Explorers to continue their play at home until our next class.
