Wednesday Wild Explorers

Friday Wild Explorers

Nature-based exploration for children and caregivers, together

Wild Explorers is a mixed-age, nature-based enrichment class for children ages 2–8 and their caregivers. Families explore and play side by side in an outdoor setting, where learning happens through curiosity, imagination, and meaningful experiences rather than formal instruction. Each gathering is guided by gentle rhythms, open-ended invitations, and intentional support for social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Caregivers are active participants, creating a shared experience where adults and children connect with one another, the natural world, and themselves. Faith-informed values like kindness, gratitude, and care for creation are woven gently into our time together, while each family’s experience and comfort guide the day.

What to Expect in Wild Explorers

  • Each session includes:

    • Free play and guided invitations

    • Seasonal activities (stone soup, fairy houses, forest adventures)

    • Movement, exploration, and imaginative play

  • Caregivers participate alongside children, supporting connection, curiosity, and social-emotional growth

  • Mixed-age format allows each child to engage at their developmental level
